St Die


I was going over FHL film #1117503, parish of Saint Croix in the town of St. Die, France tonight and found this:

20 Mar 1680 - Baptism of Sebastien & Marie, twins of Nicolas Noel and Claudette Barllaume (hard to read surname of Claudette), his wife.

Godfather to Sebastien is Sebastien Noel Godmother to Sebastien is Mougeotte Gouty (Both names very difficult to read) Godfather to Marie is Nicolas Durain Godmother to Marie is Marie Finance

I was scanning for Orys so I did not examine this film extensively.

Films 1117503 - 504 -505 and 1117510 - 511 were churches in St. Die I do not remember seeing these before but most had indexes of surnames for 10 year spans and there were two or three Noels listed but no Joseph or Peter.
