Louis F Noel of McSherrystown produced
the Noel brand of potato chips. By 1967
he had built seven routes in south central
Pennsylvania before he sold to the Tasty
Baking Company of Philadelphia, PA.
At this time the brand name was changed to
Tastyflake and the company to Tasty Bake.
Louis was the son of Albert Noel and Ruth Fink
who were married in 1939 in McSherrystown.
Louis died August 12, 2001.
