The lady is my husband's GG Grandmother, Lucy Ann Noel, born 27 Aug 1843,
Solomon Noel, was
Lucy Ann's brother. He was born Jan. 1851, in Ohio.
His wife was Emma (unknown
last name). This picture is dated about
1871, he would have been
about 21 years of age.
Lucy was listed as 16 years of age in the 1860 Census.
Solomon is listed as
9 years of age. There is also a Mary Noel,
14 years of age and Susanna,
6 years of age. Susannah married a Hoyle. I don't
know what happened to
Solomon. Their father is Jacob Noel and mother is Grace Leonard.
