History of Westmoreland County Pennsylvania by George D. Albert was originally published in 1882, Higginson Book Co., 148 Washingtron St., P.O. Box 778, Salem, MA 01970 (phone: 508/745-7170). 727 pages of images from the original book but it's hard to read in places. It is a 8 1/2" by 11" format. The cost was $69. There is no index. It lists those serving in the military in 1776, Indian wars, Civil War, histories of townships, bios ect. It can also be found at the Westmoreland County Historical Society. maybe a reprint for $55.
